“I am very honored to be represented at m. gallery.
My works you can find in the shop this season is bowls made from raw materials from Mother Earth added na-
turel colour. Worked by the hands and then fired. So pure and simple - I love it!
All good things come from Nature - I think!
I see myself as a ceramist constantly in research and process.
Exploring the raw ceramic materials, searching for a character, a structur, a surface or a colour is always my start-
It is from this research I get new knowledge, and it is in this process, that new ideas arises to be developed futher and refined in new ceramic works. I love the wide variety of tools and techniques that can be used in ceramic works.
One of my favorite tools is my hands. It is a direct and straight forward approach, and yet, it requires a sensitivity. The optimal goal is to become united with the clay you work with. Mastering this, it gives me a wonderful feeling of being grounded and connected to Mother Earth.
